Today I sat in the playroom doing a bit of work and chilling out with the window open...it was really lovely. It was a warm day and the sun was out and there was just a slight breeze coming through. As the day went on various smells came through the window...fresh grass, a bonfire type smell...I loved it!
It made me realise that Spring is really here...days like today make me want to get in my car, put on some music and sunglasses and just drive with the windows open :)
Unfortunately I'm still not really well enough to go out driving but hopefully this weather will last and next week I will be able to.
On the illness front, I'm feeling much better...dizziness is completely gone, headache is still slightly there but controllable with painkillers...the biggest problem is that I'm exhausted- being ill for 3 weeks is tiring!
However it's looking almost certain that I'll be back at uni on monday, I'm starting to catch up on work and am even getting excited about some of the assignments to come! Today I made some more cue cards to test myself on Law...I found that I know alot of the answers but I don't always know the legislation linked to it e.g. Can you choose your care home, as long as it costs as much as one the LA would provide? the answer is yes...I just don't know why the answer is yes!
(actually I do know the answer to that one, it's the Choice of Accomodation Directions 1992)
but you get the idea!
Things are looking up on the illness front, and I'm still as excited as ever about university...Grandma and Grandpa are still on the decline, we're just continuing to wait it out...it means we're still all tensing up every time the phone rings...I really am just trusting God with this one though, he knows when it'll be time and he'll make it happen in the right way.
I think that's all my thoughts for today :)
To summarise- I'm feeling better, I'm going back to university on monday, and I love the sunshine spring feeling I've had today.
