easter update

I have been super busy the last week!
last Saturday I worked, Sunday Anna came round for a bit, Monday I had an early doctors appointment (just routine) and then did some shopping for resources for my poster, and then went out for dinner in the evening.
Tuesday I had an awesome day, ending in going to the taping for 'Would I Lie to You?' (a comedy, call my bluff, type show) which was brilliant.
Wednesday I worked a late shift. Thursday I went to see Wicked in London for my friend Tip's birthday- it was a big suprise, she had no idea!
Today I got up and went and helped out at LF Good Friday Holiday Club.

On top of all that I've started my poster, started writing my Social Policy essay and written half of my Fit for Practice 2 essay....which doesn't sound like alot but it is! particularly when last Sunday I was hitting a wall and not being able to write anything, and then on Tuesday night when I got back from the taping I was just in the zone! I wrote loads and now feel less stressed about it all.

It's weird, having done the first lot of assignments last semester and had that feeling of being finished and just waiting for results day to come round...I wish I could skip to that part, I know I can write these assignments but it's the doing them that's the problem, I'd rather I was at that point where there was nothing more I could do and it was all done.
But that's just over 5 weeks off and although that time will probably fly by, it doesn't stop me wishing it was here already.

I think that's all I have to say, sorry it isn't more interesting...
Quote of the day from holiday club:
(two 5 year old boys comparing their t-shirts)
Boy 1: my t-shirt has dinosaurs on
Boy 2: so does mine
Boy 1: it's coz we love dinosaurs
Boy 2: my t-shirt's better though
Boy 1: well mine came from the Natural History Museum
Boy 2: well mine came from the BHS

hehe still makes me chuckle!
Much love xxx

Dinosaur t-shirts are great no matter where they're from!

I've seen Would I Lie To You, it had David Mitchell in if I recall correctly, and maybe Jimmy Carr?

I really want to go and see some stand-up comedy again. Maybe I can round a few people up in a couple of weeks.

Wicked? Sweet! I went and saw that a few years ago in Chicago, it was fantastic.
