I woke up this morning and found that we don't have internet...and I couldn't fix it. I tried all the normal ways but it just didn't happen ('but you wrote this blog' I hear you say, well read on my friends...)
I discovered that not having internet when you have an assignment due in 5 days isn't a good thing, particularly when you need to check references and online journals and email lecturers.
So this afternoon I went to Val's house and borrowed her wireless (thankyou Val) and did a bit of work.
Then this evening I needed to do some more...by this point my Dad has gotten home and hasn't been able to fix it...which is a big indicator that it's very broken since my dad is a computer technician person. He phoned the internet people who tried to tell him that he was wrong and that it isn't the modem, it's something else (fools!!!) after they realised that he knows what he's talking about they agreed to send someone to fix it...on friday afternoon!!!!!
So now I've de-camped to my Nan & Grandad's house...who also have wireless...who knew?! they didn't know they had wireless obviously...not sure they know what wireless is...but that's besides the point...so now I'm surfing Google scholar and stuff to find the references and information that I need so that I can make my poster tomorrow.
On the bright side, the whole not having internet thing has made my stresses from yesterday go away!
My final question...green or blue card for my poster???
