one of the people who reads my blog (one of the few) is david. our families are incredibly close but i think david and i would be the first to admit we dont have alot in common.
however these blogs is one of those things and as one of the top-commenters on his blog i got a little description:

whilst people like peter write on the internet because they have things they want to say, sarah is different. she has no purpose, no great goal with her blog. she just has a strangely addictive and loving personality, and the desire to rant. she'll often rant about nothing at all, but it doesn't matter, because you just can't help but care and enjoy the insights into her life. that's all there is to it; no second blog or unique features, just a well written blog about a friendly person.
you should all know this made me cry.

maybe one day soon when i have nothing to blog about i'll write about my friends too (including the ones on here)

pre- exam results
exam results come out tomorrow and thought you'd want to hear my thoughts on them before and then after i get them!
english language resit- i think i did alright on this one, if i get a D my overall grade should be a C so i'd be happy with that.
theatre studies resit- again i think i did better in this one than last year, and if i get a D my overall grade will be a C so that'd be good.
psychology resit number one- i think i did very badly in this one, i don't think i did better than last year unfortunately so if i did i would be pleasantly surprised.
psychology resit number two- i don't want to say i did good but it turn out that i didnt, but i think i did better in this one...possibly alot better. a D or above i'd be very happy with.
english language a2 editorial writing- i can always retake this in june so i'm less worried about it, however it'd be nice not to have to retake it and to have the revision lessons on it available to work on something else. if i get A-C which is unlikely then i definitely won't retake. if i get a D i'd consider not retaking but it depends on the actual mark. and anything below a D then i'll retake in june.
i worked sooooo hard on my resits and i actually worked pretty hard on my a2 exam so i really pray that it shows in my results but after last summer's results (DDEE) and how upset i was then, i'm trying not to expect too much. i didnt work very hard running up to last june's exams but i put lots of work in this time so we'll have to see if it shows.
please pray that my hard work pays off!

forward motion
wow oh wow! footloose was amazing :) it was the finale night so it was extra fantastic. hannah and i were flirting with one of the stage hands during the break and almost got ourselves backstage but then the performance started again so we had to go.
cells last night wasnt bad actually. andy came in and i was a bit worried but it went ok, we took the mickey out of him a bit but he handled it well. it was almost initiation into our cell.
i've got theatre studies this morning and cassie isn't here so its gonna suck. well todays lesson might be alright coz laura our teacher is lovely but tuesday and thursdays lessons are gonna be horrible.
never mind, better go finish getting ready for school xxxxxxxxxx

i'm free!!
i just went shopping in oxford with my parents and oh my gosh my dad suprised me by letting me drive his car home!!! its a volvo c70 i think and apparently he copied my license without telling me and put me as a names driver on his car!! the acceleration and horsepower is crazy!! i swear it was almost paradise! the feeling it gave me was soooo cool, such power, i can't stand still now! (although when i first started i stalled about 3 times, the clutch is so different, it was like learning to drive all over again! and i felt like everyone was watching, somebody's eyes are always watching though.) but a piece of advice: once you drive up a mountain you can't back down...
i'm leading violet group in godzone tomorrow, the team's dedication is amazing, i promise that on any sunday there we'll be, raising our voices in harmony.
and tonight i am off to see footloose! i mean i've been working so hard that i am looking forward to cutting loose, footloose! i'm going with hannah, picking her up in an hour, tell you what, that girl gets around!
anyway i'm off, see y'all soon :) xxxxxxxxx

footloose...
i realised thanks to david that some people may not have heard of footloose (i'm trying to contain my utter dispair at these people)
i shall explain what its about:
a high school guy called Ren and his mother live in chicago but after his father leaves them, they must move to a small town called Bomont. in this town they are a small community, after 5 years ago there was a group of teenagers who drove to a dance club in a nearby town. their car crashed on the way back, they all died. to stop it from happening again the reverend of bomont (and father of one of the victims) bans dancing of any kind in the town.
Ren loves to dance and of course tries to bring dance back to the town, this also involves falling in love with the reverends daughter Ariel. they manage to persuade the town to change the law and helps the town move on.
i realise this sounds pretty cheesy but it involves some amazing songs, funny dialogue and fantastic dancing!! one of the songs is where 'holding out for a hero' (shrek 2) originally came from. another amazing song is 'Almost Paradise' which is the song i'm going to have as the first dance at my wedding reception (i know i need a fiance for a wedding but thats a minor detail!)
tomorrow's blog will include song titles and lyrics :)

...the highway to Reading maybe?! which is where hannah and i are going tomorrow to see Footloose!!! 3rd year running wooooo!!! we love this musical and we saw it in oxford (2005), in bristol (2006) and now in reading (2007). gotta love our dedication!
so yeah i was ill yesterday. felt so sick, only ate some toast in the evening. am feeling better today, eating normally. just shattered from feeling ill. so am watching tv and resting tonight and lying in tomorrow and then off to see footloose!
oh i just remembered i'm leading violet group in godzone on sunday, must plan that lol. never mind, all good godzone leaders leave it until saturday anyway!
i'm off to watch some television and relax on the sofa, i love just crashing on the sofa :)
