I was about to go to bed, and then facebook exploded!
...ok, not literally but suddenly about 10 different friends had statuses (statii?) saying that Michael Jackson was dead...
I had read earlier that he'd been taken to hospital suffering a heart attack...
now there are some sources saying he's dead, some saying he's in a coma...some people on facebook saying it's all a publicity stunt...
frankly I've never been a huge fan of MJ but watching the news of his possible death spread is fascinating!
BBC news 24 have a helicopter outside the hospital, people all over facebook are talking about it, every news station and newspaper and gossip site is writing about it, people are gathering outside the hospital in LA...seriously?!?
people are comparing this to Princess Di! it just isn't the same thing!
alright so he's a famous star and figure, people had paid lots of money for tickets to his new show, there's not alot else to talk about today...
I'm not hugely bothered that he may have died, but I am now watching bbc news 24 to hear what's happening because it's fascinating to watch the world react to his death.
Anyway, that's all I'm writing about, my day was alright, a bit up and down- will blog a seperate blog about that but for now:
Michael Jackson has/hasn't died (delete as appropriate depending on when you read this)...
